More info “The Old Bulgaria” is an ethno style guest house, nestled at the foot of Madara rocks, between the first two capitals of ancient Bulgaria – Pliska and Preslav. The area is suitable for all who enjoy culture-historical tourism, but also fen of biking, paraplanerism, hunting and fishing.
The house is an ethnographic model of the ancient Bulgarian home.
Minimum new materials and objects have been used for the restoration and rebuilding. Most of the furniture are handmade or restored by the owners and every room has its own unique interior and furnishing.
The house has a private parking and could shelter up to 14 guests. There are two buildings: old one and new one. The old house has been built around 100 years ago, restored with lots of care and love, and for the building of the new one have been used mostly authentic and eco materials. There are 5 rooms in total – 3 double and 2 maisonettes.
